privacy policy
last updated july 5, 2026
Wired does not collect, track, or share your data. Everything stays on your device, or, if you choose to turn on iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud. We run no servers of our own, and we cannot see anything you do in the app.
Wired stores the following information locally on your device:
This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework in your app's private container. We do not have access to it.
Wired's widget shows your tasks and habits on your home screen. It reads them from the same private, on-device storage through a private app group shared only between Wired and its own widget. Nothing is sent anywhere.
If you turn on iCloud sync, your data is synced through your own private iCloud account, managed by Apple, so it can appear on your other devices. It goes to your iCloud, never to us, and we still cannot see it. Sync is off by default; while it is off, your data never leaves your device. You can turn it off again at any time in Settings.
Wired does not use analytics, tracking SDKs, advertising networks, or any third-party data collection. Apart from the optional iCloud sync above, the app makes no network requests of its own during normal use. Links you tap (the App Store, email, this policy) simply open in the relevant app.
If you enable notifications, Wired schedules local reminders for your habits. These notifications are generated entirely on your device.
If you enable App Lock, Wired uses iOS's LocalAuthentication framework to verify your identity. Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode data are managed by iOS and never accessible to Wired.
Wired is intended for users 13 years of age and older.
Wired includes a Resources section with crisis support links. These are external services not affiliated with Wired.
You can delete all your data at any time through Settings, Data, Delete all data. This removes everything Wired has stored, including habits, tasks, notes, and brain dumps. You can also export your data as JSON through Settings, Data, Export my data.
